Creativity and technological skills both are needed to make a 2D animation. It uses bitmap and vector graphics to create and edit the animation. The 2D animation process has four parts: development, pre-production, production and post production. The development and pre-production segments highlight the upcoming and modification of the term. The product is created during the production stage and the extraordinary effects and the final tap held on post production.

3D animation is the creation of moving pictures in a three dimensional space through computerized animation software. This model can change its surface style, position, shape and rotation. It can be moved as the real ones. It is the spirit of games and virtual reality. Usually a series of drawing shots or frames one after another engage in recreation to give the false impression of movement. It is only possible in 3D animations which are invisible or hard to imagine. For increasing the elegance of the presentation graphics 3D animation can be used. Creativity and technological skills both are needed to make a 3D animation. It is used for making movies and games. It is a very time consuming process.
