A severe stress or illness can cause hair fall. Drugs taken for cancer, arthritis, depression, heart problems, high blood pressure and birth control can causes hair loss. In fact a huge amount of vitamin A can also causes hair loss as well.

The reasons for hair loss can be treated. One should consult with a dermatologist if he wants to take treatments for hair loss. Good hair hygiene, regular shampooing and good nutrition can prevent hair loss.
