Basic level of Education
According to the education system in china, the basic education includes pre-school education, primary education and secondary education.
Normally the pre-school education system begins for a children from the age 3 and which ends at age 6, the pre-school education is also called as a kindergarten education system in China. Pre-school education normally divided into three parts:
Lower Kindergarten (Xiaoban) for 3 to 4 years old child,
Middle Kindergarten (Zhongban) for 4 to 5 years old child and
Upper Kindergarten (Daban) for 5 to 6 years old child.

Students who already passed pre-primary school they can start schools at age six (seven in some areas). In the education system in china, Secondary education normally divided into academic secondary education and the specialized/vocational/technical secondary education. And the academic secondary education is delivered by academic junior and upper secondary schools.
The junior secondary education shows 3 or 4-years course of study. The state arranges more over 13 subjects for secondary school education like politics, Chinese, language, mathematics, geography, physics, foreign, language, history, household’s skills, chemistry, biology, music and arts.
Vocational schools maintain the programs from 2 to 4 years and train to be a skilled person, managerial and technical personnel. Technical schools normally takes 4-years basis programs to make a self-depended technical personnel.
Higher education is offered at institutions that call themselves university, or school. These include degree-awarding institutions specialized institutions, professional universities, military institutions, medical schools and colleges (both regular and military), and executive training schools. These institutions bear the three major tasks of raising courses, doing scientific researches and providing social services. The undergraduate level which shows 2-and 3-year junior colleges called short range colleges, 4-year colleges, and universities arranges programs in academic and vocational courses. Many colleges and universities also arrange graduate programs leading to the master’s or Ph.D. degree.

Adult higher education includes radio/TV universities, cadre institutes, workers’ colleges, peasant colleges, journalist colleges, and educational colleges.
